Find the vehicle, then plan the loading

The waterfront around the Wales Millennium Centre and Mermaid Quay attracts visitors as well as residents. For a parked non-runner, tell us the parking level, vehicle position and whether a gate or barrier needs opening. If security staff manage the entrance, agree how the attending driver will be admitted before collection.

Bay roads and the onward route

The A4232 and Butetown corridor are important approach routes, but a collection from a private car park still needs its own access plan. Mention a tunnel, slip road or main-road breakdown explicitly so it is not confused with a vehicle safely parked nearby. Current closures can be checked through the council and Traffic Wales links.

Battery assistance or full transport

If the engine will not turn over, explain the symptoms when requesting help. If the car needs a workshop, provide the full address or postcode and any opening-hour instructions. Give wheel damage and transmission details where relevant, especially for an automatic that cannot select neutral.

BEFORE YOUR COLLECTION

Your questions, answered.

Can you collect from an apartment building in the Bay?

You can request it. Tell us about gates, permits, underground parking and who will provide the keys or access.

What if I only know a nearby attraction?

Share a map pin or current location and describe the parking entrance. A landmark helps orientation, but the team still needs to identify where the vehicle can be reached.
