Start with the position of the vehicle
A car stopped in a residential bay needs a different approach from one on the A48 or a motorway slip road. Give the road name, direction of travel and a nearby junction or map location. Tell us whether the vehicle is off the carriageway, in a car park or exposed to passing traffic so the situation can be assessed properly.
Choose an appropriate destination
Recovery moves the vehicle; it does not replace workshop diagnosis. You can request transport to a garage, your home or another agreed receiving address. Before booking a garage drop, check its opening hours and whether it has space for a non-running car. Include any key-drop arrangement in your notes.
Safety comes before the enquiry
If you are in immediate danger or stranded in a live traffic lane, call 999 first. Use our form when it is safe to do so. We will review the vehicle, loading requirements, passenger needs and destination before confirming price and availability. A quote response is separate from the recovery vehicle’s arrival time.
Your questions, answered.
Should I keep trying to drive to a garage?
Do not continue if doing so may be unsafe or cause further damage. Explain the symptoms to a qualified mechanic and arrange recovery when the vehicle cannot safely make the journey.
Can you carry passengers as well as the car?
Tell us how many people need transport before booking. Seating depends on the assigned recovery vehicle and must be confirmed; do not assume every passenger can travel in the truck.
