Town-centre parking or a private address
For a car park collection, name the car park and entrance; Cowbridge Town Hall and Wyndham Street are separate council parking locations. For a driveway, include any gate width, slope or overhanging obstruction. If access is through private land, obtain permission before the recovery vehicle is sent.
Main road or nearby lane
A reference to the A48 needs a direction and nearest junction or map location. If the car is on a smaller road outside town, give the precise position and describe the access surface. A standard road recovery enquiry should not assume that a truck can reach a vehicle across soft ground or an unassessed track.
Transport for repair or a private purchase
Include the receiving garage’s postcode and opening hours, or the seller’s agreed collection arrangements for a purchased car. Describe any wheel or suspension damage before the quote. Running condition, loading access and journey length all help determine the suitable transport arrangement and price.
Your questions, answered.
Can you recover a vehicle from outside Cowbridge?
Send the exact location and access information. Nearby rural collections need individual assessment, especially on soft ground or restricted lanes.
Can you deliver to a Cardiff garage?
Yes, request the full journey and confirm the garage has agreed to accept the vehicle on the proposed date.
